RECRUITING
We will gather as much information as possible from your athlete through a document that will be sent to their email. In this document, the athlete will provide details about their interests and what they are prioritizing in their college search. Since there are many facets to consider, we need to know: Are you prioritizing a specific major? Is location and geography important? Does a smaller school where your professor know you by name appeal to you? Or would you prefer the experience of a large state university?
At MFCA, we understand that every student-athlete is different, and everyone has unique expectations for their college experience. We will gather as much information as possible from the family and provide a list of schools that they can focus on and prioritize throughout their process. Our team at MFCA is always here to help guide you through any part of it and offer our expert opinions on your journey.

NUTRITION
Nutrition is paramount when seeking to perform at your highest levels and to do so consistently. To be competitive at the next level, marginal gains are imperative. This is one area of preparation and recovery that the vast number of middle and high school athletes overlook. The difference between average and good, and good and great, isn’t that much. It’s the 1% that can make the difference. MFCA have certified professionals who are happy to answer any nutrition or dietary questions you may have, and we can also prepare a personalized nutrition plan for your athlete.

STRENTGH & CONDITIONING
College athletics is becoming more and more competitive every single year. Gap-years, additional years of eligibility, and older, foreign athletes coming to the states to compete are just a few of the reasons as to why it is becoming more and more difficult for student athletes to achieve their true goals at the collegiate level. MFCA’s team consists of certified strength and conditioning coaches that will answer any questions that you might have about becoming stronger, quicker, faster, durable, you name it. They are here to aid you and, like Nutrition, will also provide you with a personalized workout plan if that is what you’re looking for.

GAP YEAR /
POST-GRAD YEAR
The average age of collegiate athletes continues to rise each year. As a result, it is becoming increasingly difficult for recent high school graduates to compete physically with older and more mature athletes. With the average age of players increasing and the number of roster spots decreasing, finding the ideal college to continue an athletic career is becoming more challenging. Taking a gap year or post-graduate year can offer significant benefits, providing student-athletes with additional time to mature physically and mentally, further develop their skills, and improve their academic performance. This extra year may also open up scholarship opportunities and better position them for success in college athletics. Gap years have become increasingly common and are often a wise choice for aspiring college athletes, offering them the chance to better prepare for the next step in their academic and athletic careers. MFCA partners with several trusted organizations, both domestic and international, all of which have a proven track record of providing student-athletes with an additional year of holistic development after graduation, preparing them for success in college.
